Step 1 — Claim your business

Anyone can add a page for a business, but only the verified owner can reply to reviews or edit the profile. Claiming proves you own the domain. We offer five verification methods so you can use whichever fits your access:

  1. Role-based email at admin@, support@, contact@, hello@, or info@ your domain — a one-click link (fastest).
  2. DNS TXT record on the domain.
  3. DNS CNAME record pointing at chaogolden.
  4. HTML file uploaded to your webroot.
  5. Meta tag in your home page's <head>.

Every check runs server-side. Tokens expire after 7 days; switching methods invalidates the previous one. See the full flow at Help.

Step 2 — Reply to reviews

Once claimed, your team can reply publicly to any review — the reviewer and business alternate in a thread. Replies show a business badge so readers know which side is speaking.

Step 3 — Invite verified customers

Basic and Premium plans let you send invitation links to real customers. Reviews written through an invitation carry a Verified badge — the strongest signal we have that the reviewer actually bought from you. Invitations can go out via the dashboard, CSV, or the POST /api/v1/invitations endpoint on Premium.

Step 4 — Show ratings on your own site

Premium businesses get a rich-snippet widget: paste one <script> line on any page and it renders your rating card and writes Organization + AggregateRating JSON-LD to the page head so Google can show stars in search results.

Step 5 — Understand what customers say

The business dashboard shows overall trust score, published reviews per day, star distribution, sentiment breakdown (Premium), competitor benchmarks (Premium), and every invitation you've sent along with its conversion rate.

Team seats

Add teammates as Owner, Admin, or Member. Any team seat can reply to reviews on the business's behalf; admins can edit profile settings; only the owner can transfer ownership or delete the page.
